Saxonia's top deadeye

Shrouds are wormed, parceled and served then wrapped round the deadeye and secured with racking servings. Finished off with a coating of Stockholm tar.

Stretcher is lashed to the shrouds to stop them rotating and keep the deadeyes for and aft and looking smart. Pins tidy up the falls of halyards and allow light lines to be secured like signal halyards. Heavier loads like halyards are made off to pins on cavil rails inside the bulwarks.
